Floating Trigger
Access SiteQuest from anywhere on your screen.
The floating trigger is a small handle that sits on the edge of your screen. Click it to open the sidebar without reaching for your keyboard or system tray.
Enable the Floating Trigger
Open Settings from the sidebar menu
Go to Appearance > Floating Trigger
Toggle Enable Floating Trigger on
Once enabled, a small strip appears on the edge of your screen. Click it to open the sidebar.
Trigger Styles
You can choose between three styles:
- Strip (default) — a thin, unobtrusive strip on the screen edge
- Circle — a small circular button
- Rectangle — a small rectangular handle
Change the style in Settings > Appearance > Floating Trigger > Style.
The floating trigger is a Pro feature.
How to set up the floating trigger
We're working on a walkthrough for this topic.
Tips
- The trigger follows your mouse when you're near the screen edge
- Hover over it briefly to see it highlight before clicking
- Works great if you use SiteQuest on a secondary monitor
